I have always bought Magnums since trying a famous designer boot that fell apart and felt like standing on wood.
I have been telling my son for years not to mess about with other boots. Once you put a pair of magnums on, you won’t want to take them off. He’s now hooked and delighted in every way after getting the responders for his birthday size 9 and still wiggle room perfect. When l wear my magnums and l have classics and stealth force boots l don’t want to take them off until bedtime, even if l’ve been wearing them at work all day! That really says something! You must look after them, clean and polish or even wax them and they will last a long time. Average pair for me is around 5 years or more. Great service and delivery. Now l need to convert my son in law also to magnums!
These are the 3rd pair i've had. I work as a supermarket delivery driver and do 15k plus steps per shift and these break in really quickly and are very comfortable. You can keep them laced up and the zip makes them super easy to take off and put on. I recommend wholeheartedly
Slightly heavier than I expected, but otherwise very comfortable.
The only issue was with royal mail sitting on my delivery for 24 hours despite paying extra for next day delivery
3rd pair of magnums, 2nd of this type excellent boot gives my ankle plenty of support, have to replace boots every 2 years due to own ankle/foot issues..
So these boots are an upgrade with the side zip, however the toecap appears more defined and therefore rubs internally on the inside edges.
Also an inner sole (left boot) is slightly miscut / shaped and again helps to rub the foot on the inner cap.
Should we explore replacement options
The description says they are breathable but in practice this doesn’t appear to be the case. I think the material might be breathable but only up to the rubber “booty” lining which keeps in the heat and sweat.
I was slightly worried about the comfort, although very slightly heavy - due to the sole and toe protection, these boots don’t feel heavy while on and are amazingly comfortable.
Boots were delayed upon sending them out. Your customer service advisor was extremely unhelpful. I'll buy another brand of boots next time due to this negative experience.
