This is the 6th or 7th pair of magnums I've had but first lower type. They are a lot smaller than the rest, meaning wearing thick socks is very uncomfortable. In addition the material holding the tongue in place digs into your feet. I am regretting buying them but too late to send back for others
They seems strong tho but I am gutted my last pair with zip broke as they were brilliant
Been a user of various Magnum boots over of the years, solid and reliable boots that are comfortable all shift. Managed to bag a great deal on these particulxar ones, to replace an older pair and very pleased with them. Thanks.
I’ve had magnums in the past and they’re as comfy, sturdy and reliable then as they are now.
My one quarrel is the top layer of the boot seems to be of a different material rather than scuffing which you can repair with polish and buffing it seems to tear now instead, like a layer of blistering skin you can peel off; it is still a wonderful pair of boots and I’m glad I got them on sale
This is my third pair of this particular style but had magnums most of my working life in the NHS, lightweight and wear well especially when you're on your feet for 12 hours they are still comfortable at the end of the day, only thing I should do is get spare Insoles as they wear quite quickly in my job! Otherwise would definitely recommend!
By far the most comfortable steel-toe boots I've ever worn - and I've been working in Security now for over 35 years - I am overweight by about 2 stone and never ever go home after a 12 hour shift and complain about sore tired aching feet - been wearing the over 2 months now on a 12 hour 4 on 4 off schedule - I simply love them - unbelievably light-weight compared to other brands out there - many of which I have tried and HATED in varying degrees - you will fall in love with them too I'm sure - buy a pair today - your feet and your general posture will thank you every shift haha.
Ive had a pair similar that lasted we 14 years. New pair perfect and seem better than what ive had before. It didnt take too long to break in and very comfortable.
The boots feel tight at the moment but I do expect them to give a little as I wear them in.
I have worn Magnum boots before - albeit a different design - which is why I count this as a repeat order. If I wasn’t happy with the brand I wouldn’t have bought them again.
These are solid boots but I can feel where the tongue is on one side and the reinforced toe. It’s not so uncomfortable that I can’t wear them but I feel it. I’m hoping they wear in.
The boots dig heavily into the ankles and are not comfortable.
I will now have to buy an alternative pair and unfortunately be unable to return these.
I would however recommend going for the Magnum classic 6”
