I have had Magnum calf length boots for years for work but have had plantar fascitis this past year and haven't been able to wear proper shoes/boots in ages. I got these shoes after seeing a colleague with a pair. Bought them and absolutely love them. My orthotics fit as the fit of the shoe is deep. Can't say anymore than 'perfect for me'.
I needed a shoe that can help me on my Monday to Thursday working week. Stood up and walking around work covering 5-9 miles a day, and having hammer toe, arthritis and being a type 1 diabetic I needed something decent. Finally after wearing work shoes for over 35 years I’ve found that shoe. My foot pain has significantly reduced and I’m walking around work with a spring in my step. You get what you pay for, but with these shoes you’re not paying the earth. A well made shoe. Cheers
The fit is on the narrow side but that aside they have the usual high standards of Magnum shoes . This is my 3rd or 4th pair and have never been dissatisfied
Very well built in terms of quality but I do find it comes up narrow and small hence taking two stars off. I do have custom made orthotics which make the fit even tighter
Shoe laces don't feel quality and leather is so creaky people can hear me walking about! It's Day 1 wearing and hope this is going to disappear with time... But rate 5*comfort
These re my 2nd pair now, My 1st pair were still good nearly 2 years later but I had to get a safety shoe for work, I did try a magnum safety shoe but they were not good for my feet. So I spoke to work H&S and explained the situation with my feet , and explained that these VIPER shows though not classed a safety show, are a robust show and I need to look after my feet and I want to wear the VIPERs again. Thankfully they listened to my concerns and I've been wearing my 2nd pair for a few months now and I still feel like I'm walking on air, but feel good that they are robust enough to take everyday work knocks.
They are fine and generally fit well but for some reason that I cannot fathom my toe touches the end - yet they fit in all dimensions and there is room at the heel?
